The Macarena Quarter

What do you evoke the word "Macarena"?. Will surely come to mind a famous song by “ Los del Rio “.  But Macarena is much more. I will help to deepen its meaning, visiting the Basilica de la Macarena, where we admire the famous statue of the Virgin, walking through the streets that will lead to a cloistered convent, Santa Paula. We will come inside  to see the church as well as some of its works of art with one of the kind sisters who live there. Then have the opportunity to buy  the exquisite jellies and jams made by them.
